Problem whith msi5870

2 * 2GB ddr3 1333
Foxconn motherboard inferno katana GTI
CG msi hd5870
PSU colermaster 500watt
win 7 64bit
when I run the test of win 7 (rate of computer) it reported problem pilot and continued testing and after some second a black screen then blue after display error and the pc restarts

i tray 10.7/10.6/10.2/ driver and driver that is on the msi site and nothing change
My crashes are mostly manifested with a complete system "freeze" and unable to recover to desktop, task manager or whatever other apps I have running at the same time
PC crash while doing 2D type things

Which Coolermaster PSU is that?

The PSU is the culprit IMO.

5870 needs a better PSU and I dont think your PSU is worthy enough.

nope that is not the problem.If the PSU is of the Extreme Series then replace it with a good PSU.

but when I uninstall the driver and I run the test of win 7 it contune to the end and after is indicate a problem test then the pc is working normally but when I try to play metro2033 ther is windos that indicate the shader card graphique is less than 3.0

If the PSU cannot supply proper power to the system then you might get system crashes and blue screens.Other than that get the latest drivers from Ati and check.If the problem persists then check your PSU/Graphics card.

Check the GC on another system and also test another graphics card in your system.With that you can identify the source of your problem.

i test another GC (saphire hd4650) in my system and when i run the test of win 7 some times he finished the test and give me the rate and some times blue screen in the down, i can read erreur RAM or some think and the pc reboot
but ther is no problem driver ?
i think no i have many problems
problem graphique card + problem ram or motherbord

I've changed the motherboard with a MSI h55-gd65 and the problem of the graphics card and RAM is solved
