File Transfer from old PC to New
Dec 27, 2012, 1:28 AM
I need to move files (games, music ,videos, photos) from Vista PC to Win 8. Can I just plug the old HD in and copy/move
, or should I rebuild the old PC & use an USB connection? Or something else?

You can plug the old hard drive in and move files, music, videos and photos...
Games and other applications aren't transferable, however; you'll have to re-install them.

Yes you can transfer game saves, but it'll be a trick finding them all - just hunt per-game.
