Just finished my friends system. I helped him pick out some of the parts, he got a few on his own. I don't know the total price tag, but here's his specs and some pictures below.

Case: HAF X 942
Motherboard: ASUS Crosshair IV
CPU: AMD Phenom IIx4 955 C3
RAM: Mushkin DDR3-1600 Cas 7 latency
OS Drive: OCZ 60 GB Agility SSD
Media Drive: Samsung Spinpoint F3 1TB
Graphics Card: nVidia Fermi 480 (Didn't check the manufacturer)
PSU: Abs 950W Modular 80 Plus Gold Certified

Frontal shot (Pardon the messy table, you know how it gets when you build)

Side shot:

Side/pointing forward shot:

Back shot(Notice the USB 3.0 cables from the front of the case to the rear, because the Motherboard doesn't have USB 3.0 jumpers)

Just sharing because it's fun to build. Any comments, positive or negative are welcome.

Pretty clean. Nice cable management.

What's the USB device running to the back panel USB port (blue USB cable)?

USB 3.0 The front of the HAF-X has USB 3.0, but the motherboard doesn't have USB built into it(jumpers) so the current internet theorized work around is bring the USB cables to the rear through a water cooler grommet and plug it into the back. To allow USB 3.0 in the front

I'm not particularly fond of the HAF plasticy case, but I'm not going to lie, it's functionality slaughters my Antec 1200

I was going to ask about the blue cable in the back but someone beat me to it lol. This is the first time for me to see how much space a GTX 480 video card really takes up.

P.S. Great cable management. :D

I've got the HAF 932, and it looks pretty similar. I love my case. It's really quiet, has great airflow, and lots of room.

Echo: Amazing cable management. This shows just how bad my cable jobs really are (which means it's a good lesson).
