can you tell me where I can find a motherboard for a Gateway DX-4822-01 computer on line? Gateway is of no help.

You can buy and install any motherboard you want to

As it is a tower casing, you may be able to fit in (as werner said) any LGA775 motherboard supporting your Intel Pentium E5300 processor.
