What's the deal with these? I almost never see them in the server
browser, and would prefer - to play exclusively on them. What gives?

There is an option in the filter you can select for that.

Epic apparently didn't expect the tremendous amount of stats data they'd
get. The statistics servers started to get slower and slower, up to a
point where Epic pulled the plug. Nowadays they are sometimes working,
sometimes not. I guess people just won't bother with it any more.

The problem with the world is stupidity. Not saying there should be
a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the
safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?

UT99 had the ability to write server-local stats to a bunch of HTML
files. Something like that would be great!

Is that why I never see any stats? Or does ONS not report stats?
