Robz5150 why don't you go ahead and tell us what your budget is and what games you like to play. Also what screen size and resolution are to looking for?

I'm sure we will be able to help you out.

I own a Asus UL80Jt, worked awesome when i first bought it, but then i did something to make it suck. It runs WoW at ultra with no issue. I only spent 816$ exactly at Bestbuy for it.

Sorry if I post here, but I want to buy a good gaming laptop or notebook. I don't want to spend more than $1900. I just wonder if this mode, ASUS Republic of Gamers G73JH-A1 17-Inch Gaming Laptop, is any good. I saw it awhile ago, but I just wonder if there is anything better in market.

Thanks.

P.S. I just saw a newer model, ASUS G73JH-X5 Republic of Gamers 17.3-Inch, which sells for about $1600.00. Any input or opinion on what to buy? These are the specs for this new model:

* Intel i7-720QM (1.60 GHz Quad-Core with Turbo Boost up to 2.8GHz)
* 8GB DDR3 1066MHz , 4 SODIMM Sockets, up to 8GB
* 640GB (320GB x 2) 7200RPM HDD; Blue-Ray Disk Combo Drive; 802.11 b/g/n
* ATI 5870 Graphics with 1G GDDR5; Windows Home Premium 64-bit Operating System
* 17.3-Inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) LED Display; 2.0M Webcam;

Get it, that thing is a beast.

If you want one with a better processor, same gpu, and a 15.6'' screen, get this one.

$1,599 - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834152211

and I would usually NEVER EVER EVER recommend Alienware, but since you are close to the budget, it might be worth looking at, since is has TWO 5870's in crossfire and a better CPU. Solid performance.

I am more inclined to buy the newest model which I mentioned in my "P.S.". I will go for this:

ASUS G73JH-X5 Republic of Gamers 17.3-Inch
* Intel i7-720QM (1.60 GHz Quad-Core with Turbo Boost up to 2.8GHz)
* 8GB DDR3 1066MHz , 4 SODIMM Sockets, up to 8GB
* 640GB (320GB x 2) 7200RPM HDD; Blue-Ray Disk Combo Drive; 802.11 b/g/n
* ATI 5870 Graphics with 1G GDDR5; Windows Home Premium 64-bit Operating System
* 17.3-Inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) LED Display; 2.0M Webcam;

which is selling for about $1600.00 at amazon-dot-com. Thanks.
