Hi guys! I would like to ask for help in installing additional memory to my system. I have an ECS P55H-A motherboard. It has 4 memory slots, the first and third slot are being occupied by 2 2gb ddr3 1333mhz memory cards. I'm running windows 7 ultimate 64bit.

I'm planning to add 8gb of memory to my system but I don't know what kind of memory should I buy. Also, what does "dual channel" means? Is it okay to add a couple of 4gb dd3 1333mhz on the remaining slots or should it be in another clockspeed? Also, Is it okay to add a single stick rather than 2?

Thanks! :D

For best compatibility I would try to buy identical sticks of RAM to what is already installed. From what I know, I would rather install two sticks than one due to your motherboard being dual channel.
