Zonet N wireless adapter not picking up airport extreme signal.

Helo, I just moved my PC from a spot that was right next to the modem, to another room. I figured I could just use the wireless adapter that was in it http://www.zonetusa.com/products-221.aspx However, I seem to sit at about 10-20% signal strength, while I can use an xbox 360, psp, macbook and just about anything else that uses wireless fine from this spot. My xbox 360 with its adapter sits at about 80% strength, while my macbook sits at a full 4 bars. The connection is actually so bad I cant even open up a web browser, anyone know why this would be happening?
