Hey I recently posted about Network Hell and then got it fixed. But I switched my cable modem for dsl. If I plug directly into the network port on the back of my pc my internet works fine. If I try to use the uplink cable from my netgear router to the cable modem it says everything is fine but I get no connection it works fine for my cable modem but not the dsl modem.

they both use the dchp so I dont understand what could be wrong.

Any input would be great.

Thanks

You need to configure your router for PPTP, enter your username and password in.
Cable doesn't require it.

Once you do that, you can uninstall any software your DSL provider gave you.
