What's best laptop 4GB DDR3 kit for intel i3-370m

Pls guys help me buy a new memory kit for ASUS X52F core i3-370m laptop

1. ram must be DDR3-1066MHz (max frequency supported by i3-370m)
2. good clk like 7clk or less (6 or 5 maybe)
3. prefered brands kingston, gskill, corsair, patroit

rest lies in ur hands pls pls pls guide me.....

Did not see any with a cl rating less than 7, But in normal usage probably would not see any diif between CL7 and CL5.

Since it 'ships' with 4GB then what's the point of replacing it with another 4GB??!! IF you have a 64-bit OS then IMO get a 2x4GB kit, and it's pointless to get >1066 MHz unless ASUS added a user setting 'DRAM Frequency -> >1066 MHz in the BIOS.

Meaning, you won't notice any difference AT ALL from one 1066 MHz CAS 7 vs 1333 MHz CAS 9 OR OEM vs Replacement-- IF the BIOS is locked it's going to run 1066 MHz CAS 7.

Simply said, you're wasting money less both: 1. RAM is BAD and 2. Warranty is over.

fyi their are many variations in asus x52f

mine came with 2gb ddr3 and i3 370m not 350m
and secondly i3 1st gen. supports max. ram frequency of 1066MHz in DDR3 and talking of asus bios settings u cant change a thing and the bundeled ram is already runnig at its max frq.

all in all saying u have wasted ur time not me !

Yep, I'm sure there's a bazillion different models. I wasn't a git surprised about the BIOS.
