Samsung 830 being read on BIOS but not on Windows Tags: SSD Samsung Storage Last response: December 28, 2012 1:42 PM in Storage Share razar-matt December 28, 2012 8:27:17 AM Hey guys. I've had a little look around the forums to see if anyone has had the same problem, but their's seem to always be a little different. The main issue that people are having is that the SSD isn't being shown on the Windows Installer. I'm not trying to re-install windows, I'm just trying to upgrade my old HDD to the new SSD. As the title suggests, the BIOS is completely reading the SSD drive, but whenever I go to My Computer or anything, it just doesn't read it. If anyone has any suggestions, it would be greatly appreciated Thanks in advance More about : samsung 830 read bios windows mad-max79 a b Ô Samsung a b G Storage December 28, 2012 1:42:25 PM Did you format the drive in device manager?
