Compaq laptop keyboard not working

Hello,
my keyboard on my compaq laptop is all the sudden not working. It locked up somehow, not sure how to unlock it

If you have one external keyboard that you can use, try to plug it in (if it is PS2 it will need a reboot, USB should be plug-and-play) and see if that works.
