RAID 1 Array with WD Green and WD Blue

I am trying to set up a computer with a RAID 1 configuration using 1 x WD Green (500 GB) and 1 x WD Blue (500 GB) drives. However I am getting an error when trying to add the Blue drive as a mirror. A dialog box named "Virtual Disk Manager"pops up with the following error message: "All disks holding extents for a given volume must have the same sector size, and the sector size must be valid".

Both disks are brand new and working. What am I missing? Are the drive incompatible for mirroring although they have the same size?

please advise and thank you in advance

WD Green works with 4K sectors, the Blue with 512B sectors. That's not going to work in a raid1.
