Best Z68 Board?

Jumping ship from ASUS to Gigabyte (for OSX)

If it fails, I will still be excited for Windows 8.

Either way, I'm going Z68 (unless there's a reason not to - Microcenter is having quite the sale with some 1155s and 6 series mobos) These go from $100 to $200 with $40 off when buying my chip (getting i3 2100 or i5 2500k)

If I can get some "why"s that would be great.


BTW this will be used for audio production, if that means anything to anyone!

I arbitrarily went for the Tomshardware endorsed UD3, spend some extra and the issd version with the MSATA ssd is an option.

Using the UD3H right now, and it suits all my needs very nicely. So you can guess which way I went....

I got the i5 2500k and the Z68MX-UD2H

No PCI slots, but 4 ram slots on a micro board. Now all my heart desires is an empty Mac Pro case! (and the apple keyboard/mouse or trackpad, using microsoft sidewinder stuff now!)

Things are good, but can't find kext for 10.6 for the intel HD3000 graphics, and my 4650 won't work either, so I'm either off to Lion (not quite ready for that yet) or off to spend more $$ on a graphics card.

Which card is suggested for OOB goodness?
