I just built a brand new system with all brand new parts. After plugged all the parts in the system I was eager for the system to start for the first time. However, the system only shows up black screen and won’t even load into BIOS or start up. I checked monitor, video card, rams, and motherboard, but don’t seem to find any problems at all. I tried to switch with different video and still show the black screen. I even test the rams out by putting one in each slot at a time with no result. I am so desperate to get this computer up and running. Can anyone help me fix this problem? Thanks!

Solution
Do you have the 4/8 pin CPU power connected to the MB near the CPU?

Do you have a system speaker attached to the MB? if so do you get any beeps? if not take out all the RAM and see if you get beeps.

Do the fans spin when you power on the computer or lights?
