Hello, :hello:
i'm building a set up for my new PC and reading the Asus p8p67 manual i noticed at page 24 says:

"the motherboard does not support DIMMs made up of 512Mb (64MB) chips or less"

I was stunned for a moment, and so i checked the compatibility list and i noticed that the most of the RAM set listed have chips made up of 512Mb x 64 MB or less.

At this point i'm totally lost.
This is the future pc set up

Asus mobo p8p67

Intel i5 2500k

nvidia geforce gtx 560 Ti

of course is for gaming set up and would be nice to have at 8GB of ram.

Any one of u could suggest me a good RAM to put on and that u are sure of his compatibility?
thx

do not worry about that, it's nothing.
where is your motherboard's RAM QVL.?

i checked it and seems a bit old compared to the memory's manufacturer list.

With reference point the memory's manufacturer list this are the 2 solution i found to be good

Corsair Dimm Vengeance 8Gb (2x4Gb) ddr3 1600 MHz Unbuffered CL 8-8-8-24
CMZ8GX3M2A1600C8 + heatsink

Kingston 8GB 1066MHz DDR3 Non-ECC CL7 DIMM (Kit 2)
KVR1066D3N7K2/8G

The corsair price is 80 € while the kingston 43 €.

for gaming what u would suggest? :)
