Trying to upgrade my PC here, And i've completely lost all my IT knowledge during the summer hols x_x

Have you done some serching in ASUSs website?
You can get everything you need there, from RAM compatibility lists to processor compatibility list.
This is something you can find out by yourself.
Don't be lazy!

BTW : X4 945 is compatible with this board.

Sorry, And a friend of mine has helped me out a few days ago. Turns out i gotta update the bios before it works ._.
