More about ordering today 1300
  1. Quick please? No suggestions? Not even a yes or no? Or looks good? Or looks bad?
  2. Thanks for even REPLYING :)
  3. That CM is definitely the nicer PSU, look at the gold rating and reviews.

Mushkin has their 1.35 volt kit on for 80$AR right now, probably worth taking over the RIpjaw's eco series.
  4. Thanks for the info. :)

I think ill stay with ECOs for the brand.. and memory height, because i will upgrade coolers a fair bit (i know mushkins are not tall but..)

    -thanks again
  5. The psu is not bad however it's funny to see someone like yourself overlook the most obvious and far superior choice.6 x 6+2-Pin

    Btw it's a certified 80+ Gold unit.

Corsair's marketing department at work trying to sell more expensive AX units imo.
  6. Right... but hey, ill sacrifice for the 80+ Gold and the coolermaster name. And 6 to 6+2 don't have power loss really.. :)
  7. coolermaster PSU's are shyte

the one you have chosen is good but you get a much better one for that price I was linking to cheaper PSU's
  8. No they aren't, i have always used them :) never one problem, and this power supply has nice technologies, nice AMPS, nice looks :D and 80+ GOLD
  9. Pull da trigger or hold off till tomorra?
  10. i've seen many NV8800 series bite it due to poor CM PSU's
that one seems nice but too expensive
  11. too expensive? Its an 800w 80+ gold..?

Don't get me wrong i think Cooler Master Silent Pro's are good psu's but Corsair is better.
So if more money and a 2yr warranty is better go for it!
  13. Haha, you make good points. The HX850 is only silver :P

Ill think about it. Wait till tomorrow. GNIGHT everyone
  14. That case it's rather small for that video card, you'll have to take out the main HDD cage.

I say forget about crossfire, by the time that card won't be able to run the games it will be outdated. Think you bought a GTX 275 or HD 4890 a year and a half ago, I don't think you'll buy another one next year but sell it and get a new one.

Well i'll post it again it's GOLD + right from the horse's mouth.

Ecos conducts 80+ certification not the manufacturers.
Corsair can market their psu's any way they like.

  16. I've never seen a review of an HX series getting anything past silver efficiency.
  17. Yeah no way.. the HX are not 80+ gold, final. http://www.corsair.com/products/hx850/default.aspx that says silver?
newegg says silver? ITS ALL SILVER except for the AX series :D

Ok, for sure ordering today. 9/20/2010
