Will a pc start up without cpu on the board

i have a pc and i want to know if the moniter will come on with no cpu on the board

The monitor will come on when you press the power button. But the computer will not run without a cpu. Your monitor will display something like "no signal" or "check the monitor cable," if there is no cpu on the motherboard.
