I think I've got most of the parts picked out but I would like some opinions on whether they are the right choices, compatible and just general recommendations.

Budget Range: ($400-$500)

System Usage: Just needed for internet surfing/email/word processing. No games or anything.

Parts Not Required: All I need is the computer. I have a keyboard, mouse, monitor, speakers etc.

Preferred Website for Parts: http://www.b-com.ca/home.php

Country: Canada

CPU: AMD ATHLON II X2 AM3 250 3 GHz CPU ($64.88)

I'm still unsure about the case. I'd definitely like to bring the price down as well.

The only thing i would think about changing is dont get the power supply with the case. Coolermaster doesnt put high quality PSU in their cases...and a bad one could waste all your nice new parts when it dies.

Agreed: IGP + low cost configs i could easily slot in something like a Corsair 400CX, Antecs Earthwatts 380 or ECO 400 for very decent 80+ entry level PSUs ^^

Hmm. Okay so how about this case here:
ANTEC NSK4482 MINI TOWER BLACK/Sliver W/ 380W POWER SUPPLY ATX12V V2.2

It's tough to find a case and a separate PSU from this place without the price skyrocketing. Is this a better choice for case/psu?

Also I've been looking at changing the motherboard again for something a little cheaper maybe. What about this one:
ASUS M4A78L-M SK AM3 AMD 760G+SB710, 2PCI/1PCI-E X16, 2D.DDR2-800, SATA, GB LAN, HD-AUDIO, M.ATX
http://www.b-com.ca/product.php?productid=225337&page=1

Or:
ASUS M4A78LT-M LE AM3 AMD 760G+SB710, 2PCI/1PCI-E X16, 2D.DDR3-1066, SATA, GB LAN, HD-AUDIO, M.ATX

I save about $20 with either of these over my initial choice. And now that I remember I have 2 Gigs of ram relatively new that I could use from the old computer. It is DDR2 though. But that would save me another $20-$40. Is it worth it to upgrade to DDR3? Like I said before this computer isn't going to be used for anything intensive.

This one...ASUS M4A78L-M SK AM3 will run with your DDR2
This one...ASUS M4A78LT-M LE uses DDR3...and I have a computer here that runs this one, smooth and stable for about 3 months now!

If youre SURE you wont want high perf later, then get the first one, but IMHO get the second to future proof your system!

BTW the antec case is a better choice, the PSU should be ok, but its bare minumum for what youre building
