Windows 8 driver for Seagate Goflex Desk Adapter

Hey,
I have a Seagate Goflex Desk Adapter USB 3.0 and Windows 8 will not recognize it at all. So, I'm assuming it needs its own driver. Would anyone know where to find it?
Thanks!

  1. I'll have to try this tomorrow when I get home. I've a 2tb on a usb3 go flex but it normally connects to a win7 pc. I've got 2 win8 pcs to test with.

Off the top of my head though, the win7 driver should work.
  2. It doesn't do a thing when plugged in but it works just fine on my laptop running xp
  3. Same issue. Windows 8 doesn't detect my 4TB Seagate Freeagent drive on USB 3 ports. Works fine in Windows 7.
  4. Same issue with my 1.5 TB Free Agent GoFlex Drive. Can't update my program to Windows 8, and I think the speed is not as fast as it should be, I was getting 0.1 Mbps. ):
There are lots of dead posts on forums all over the web concerning this issue ):
