GTX 465 No Display

I finished assembling my computer, and when I turn it on everything seems to be getting power. All my fans in my case and on my CPU cooler are spinning and all the LED's on my case and mobo are lit up, but there is no signal going to my monitor. I've tried reseating the GPU and I've checked all my power connectors. I've also tried using one stick of RAM and I've moved my RAM to the second two slots. Nothing. It's not my monitor because I've tried a different one and I've tried both DVI ports.

Do you think this sounds more like a GPU or mobo problem? Or maybe my PSU isn't supplying enough power?

I have a Gigabyte GA-890FXA-UD5 mobo, an EVGA GTX 465, 4GB of ADATA DDR3 1600 ram, and a 650W XFX power supply.

  1. what about the monitor cable ?...........did you try a different monitor cable ?
  2. Yeah, I used two different cables, and it didn't make any difference.

I think something just isn't working right and that I just bought a lemon, but I can't figure out if it's the mobo or GPU.
