I have been doing some research and asking questions on the forms and have come up with this.

HDD: Western Digital Caviar Green WD5000AADS

DVD drive: Samsung SH-S223C

Power Supply: Aywun MEGA POWER 450W ATX Power Supply, 80PLUS

I am still a noob at this so i don't really know what all of the slots and stuff are called.

Is all of this compatible and will it work well?

How many slots will i have free?

And any general thoughts.

Some suggestions -
Mobo - The 880G model doesnt offer anything other than a better onboard graphics, so it wont be of any good use to you as you will be using a discrete graphics card...
So get the 785G version...

PSU - IMO go with a better manufacturer - Antec / Corsair / Cooler Master Real Power or Silent PRO/ Silverstone/ Seasonic/ OCZ ModeXtreme or Fatality series/ PCP&S

HDD - Get a faster drive - Samsung F3 500GB

Why buy 2 x 1Gb of memory? If you plan to upgrade in the future you will have used up a slot. Buy 1 x 2GB. You really won't notice any dual channel increase (if it is a dual channel system).
