Advice on building my new PC workstation

Hello everyone,

I need to build a economical PC to use with Premiere and footage from my new Canon T2i. I have been reading through other suggested builds and came up with a set up that I think will work, but I could really use some help in making sure that everything works together and goes along with my goals for editing and using CS4 (CS5 soon).

GOALS:
-A build that will cost less than 2k, be upgradeable to CS5, allow me to store ample HD video from my Canon T2i, view HD1080 footage smoothly in the preview window, and edit footage with relative ease.

Initially, I have opted for AMD Phenom II as the primary processor, however, I have seen threads that suggest the Intelcore i7. Can someone confirm which is better for my intended use?

I have listed the components I selected below that are from Newegg. Any feedback, other suggestions, problems, etc. would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you so much for your time and help!

You would be better served with an i7-930 build sir. And I am an AMD fanboi, but you definately would be better off with an i7
