Ok so i made a deal with my mom that if i get honor roll in school i will get a laptop and i am getting an M15x so she said i would have to pay for 1/2 of it. So i need someone to make the cheapest and best specs for me so i am not paying 1000 and my mom too (she wouldnt be happy.) And just so you know my bro has an asus and when it breaks he said i could have the gtx 260M for my alienware instead of paying 400 for the upgrade. so either the cheapest ATI card or the 240M w/ 512MB video memory for now.

More about : alienware m15x

I thought if you take out the cooling system on the M15x you can change it out

I suppose "can't" isn't exactly the right word:)  It's difficult, you have to unsolder the old chip from the motherboard and solder the new one in. I am not sure about Alienware's BIOS ect...but you also have to make sure that you could get drivers that would work with your machine. I'd check for sure though, because a GT 240M is relatively weak if that is your main computer(mine has the 210M, and it get's by, but not good enough that I'd want to play on it very long:) ) Other than that it looks good. You could probably save money if you went with ASUS.

Much better deal. I haven't had much experience with Sager, but from what I have read they are good. I have no love for Dell, so anything other than an Alienware gets the vote from me:)
