Dv8 vs envy

whats the difference between the hp dv8 and the envy when i went on there websight and custome build them the the same exact specs there the same price so whats upk

with the same screen res, same hd, same ram, same everything except the dv8 has a bigger screen y are they the same price

One (dv8) is a desktop replacement that is not very portable. The envy is smaller and lighter more portable.

ah so even though there the same price with the same specs it depends on if you want the portability or the big ass screen huh

You pay a premium for the big screen and you pay a premium for the small size on the envy notice how the 13" is more expensive than the 14". Then again most of the price is in the components.
