  1. If you're going to spend $55 for the main HDD, spend it on the 7200.12 or Spinpoint F3 500 GB. Otherwise, I like that build above. I'm also building one for my parents soon since their Dell has died and I might adopt this myself.

    ^^ Good build, but a faster HDD would be a good addition as the Green drives are more of storage drives than boot drives...

    AMD Option -
    X2 245 + Biostar A880G+ AM3 AMD 880G
    - Just 1 issue with this mobo is that it has 2 RAM slots, but I dont see the need for more than 4GB for this build though...
    But if you want 4 RAM slots, then this -

    RAM - If 2GB would suffice -
    Or 4GB

    CASE + OS - A comparitively small case, which can be placed horizontally or vertically...
    CM 360 + OS


    PSU + HDD - I know this much power is not required, but the combo is very good

    And also the above promo codes might work with some of these parts too...
