Approximate Purchase Date: Within the next 2 weeks.

Budget Range: 1000 - 1500

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Watching Movies, Gaming.

Parts Not Required: Will need everything.

Preferred Website(s) for Parts:,,

Country of Origin: Canada

Parts Preferences: None really. I am open to suggestions.

Overclocking: Maybe

SLI or Crossfire: Maybe

Monitor Resolution: 1920x1200

Additional Comments: The time has come for me to build myself a new PC. I have been reading through the various guides on this site and have an idea of what I would like. However, I would like to put my money to its best usage.

I am looking for a gaming build (I mainly play Starcraft 2 and Dragon Age) that I can also watch movies on. I intend to hook the PC up to a 40 inch Sony Bravia LCD that I currently own. I have made a partial list of parts that I am considering, but these are not set in stone. Please feel free to offer your suggestions for a possible build.

CPU: AMD Phenom II X6 1055T Thuban 2.8GHz

Case: Antec Nine Hundred Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Motherboard: ASUS Crosshair IV Formula AM3 AMD 890FX SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard

I have not decided on the rest of the parts at this time. I figured I would ask for some suggestions first, thanks.
