4 pin

I borrowed a PSU to test my computer, but it is an older PSU. It doesn't have the separate 4 pin plug to connect to the motherboard, will it still run?? I actually tried this, it started but no booting. Do i have to buy a new PSU?

That's your CPU power connector that's missing. No, the system will not boot without this.
