Hi i'm new to this forum but i always come across it when im looking for answers on google. So i just finished this build last thursday and i'm just looking for feedback about the overall quality of my build. This was the first computer i ever built with help from my cousin whos pretty experienced.

Processor: Intel i7-930 ($219)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-X58a-UD3R (Rev 2.0) ($210)
RAM: Corsair TR3X6G1600C8D Dominator 6 GB ($180)
Graphics Card:XFX ATI Radeon HD 5870 ($300)
Hard Drive:Samsung Spinpoint F3 1TB ($78 combined with DVD)
Case: NZXT Phantom White ($144)
Power Supply: Corsair 750HX ($131)
DVD Burner:Samsung SH-S223C ($78 combined with HDD)
Heatsink: Thermalright Venomous-X ($63 with 120mm fan)

Which came up to a total of $1325ish..

I'm going to get more fans later so i can do the 4GHz overclock that is so popular with these processors..
Any answers will be appreciated..thanks!

Processor: Intel i7-930 ($219) good
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-X58a-UD3R (Rev 2.0) ($210) good
RAM: Corsair TR3X6G1600C8D Dominator 6 GB ($180) good but its way over priced could have picked up faster munshkin or g.skil'd for cheaper
Graphics Card:XFX ATI Radeon HD 5870 ($300) good, wasn there a combo with the xfx 750 watts psu ?its just as good as the hx750
Hard Drive:Samsung Spinpoint F3 1TB ($78 combined with DVD) good
Case: NZXT Phantom White ($144) its a nice case not my style but to each his own
Power Supply: Corsair 750HX ($131) good
DVD Burner:Samsung SH-S223C ($78 combined with HDD) burner is a burner is a burner 80% of burners are made by lite-on anyway
Heatsink: Thermalright Venomous-X ($63 with 120mm fan) good

9.5/10 good build but some needless expenses, hope from now on you do homebuilt ,always
