Hey guys, sorry to bother I'm new to this but a part of my 6g ram just broke and I had to take out a few.
I used to have 6 sticks or whatever you call it. 2 of them were 1g each and 2 others 2g each.
Both 2g ones broke and my computer guy who took them out told me that they were busted or something. So I currently have only 2g of RAM in my pc.

I am thinking about buying new but I'm not sure if there's a difference on which one I should buy? I mean are all of them(ram sticks) going to work on my pc or do I have to get specific ones for my specific PC model?

I'm thinking about this ones

But I'm not sure if it's going to work on my model and I don't know how to check...any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.

Check your motherboard to see what kind of memory it supports (DDR2 or DDR3, MHz, etc.), and if you're not overclocking the timing and stuff shouldn't matter.
