Hello,

I was wondering how well one of the builds i found under the buyers guides works for playing games like WoW, Dragon Age, or Fallout 3.

This build will allow you to play games at mid. to max. settings at a monitor resolution of 1920x1200

Will I be able to run the upcoming expansion at maximum settings at that resolution? I know it says mid to max but for a game like Wow - Cataclysm will it fare well?

Yeah, that's a solid build. It should serve you pretty well. Are you planning on adding a second card later? If not, you could trade up in performance (for a very small amount more) to a gtx 470.

I'd change RAM to a 4gb G SKill Eco kit, dd3 1600 cas 7 at 1.35v. $96

You can also go with a GA 790 ud4 mobo instead. It's cheaper and basically the same thing.

I'd also seriously consider taking the saving from mobo and get a XFX 750 BE PSU instead. The corsair's are good, but their age is showing and the BE PSU's are much better.
