Not sure if this is the right section, I apologize if it is not.
I just mounted a Scythe Mugen 2 Rev. B (SCMG-2100) heatsink + fan on my i7 920 C0. Been running Prime 95 for about 25 minutes now and monitoring my temps with Coretemp. Running at stock speed and stock settings for the moment (about to OC to 3.33). My 4th core seems to run cooler than my other 3 cores. See picture below. Even with the old stock intel cooler, that same core ran about 5 degrees cooler at all times. I remounted the old stock cooler 4 different times and came out with the same results; the 4th core runs cooler. Is there something wrong here or is it just a flook?

I don't think slight variations in core temps is anything to worry about.

Just make sure you apply your thermal paste correctly when mounting heatsink, this may help.
