Just get the V6 and add a fan, or a 212+... or some noctua crap (its only crap if its not the nh-d14 :D)

RAM is C9 and that's pretty bad.. you want to look for C7. You don't need for than 4gb for gaming. Get a Spinpoint f3 hard drive if you guys have them. i5 760 is the same thing..

That site is so hard to navigate, whoever designed it was somewhat unintelligent.

1. the i7 has hyperthreading and a higher clock speed :pt1cable:
2. *changes HDD to f3* :sol:
3. I have no idea about RAMs "CL" and i do intend to overclock, would my mobo support CL7? :??:
4. I am bent on getting case fans because it makes it perrrty ( ide spend an extra 100 if i need 2 ) :kaola:
5. yeah, the site isnt that fun to use but its the only computer store within a 10 mile radius :(

Yes, your motherboard will support CL7. It also would support significantly lower latency ram if it was available. The CAS latency of DDR3 is just as important for performance as the frequency. Lower latency ram is better, obviously. You can overclock lower latency ram higher by "loosening" the timings. You can run higher frequency ram at lower latencies (usually) by lowering its frequency.
DDR3 1333 CL5/6 ~performs similarly to~ DDR3 1600 CL7 ~performs similarly to~ DDR3 2000 CL9

1. I am really wanting a V6 not only for airflow ( oh god this sounds corny but here we go ) but i want the inside of my case to look "nice"
2. ram looks good, thankyou =]
3. that link takes me to the homepage =\
4. i am getting that harddrive, yes
5. I do plan on getting 2 460s but i dont see how this is better than a 700W... :??: (sorry, im only 13 y/o :kaola: )

get the gigabyte p55 or asus p55 board

the hx 650 uses higher quality components

you want to learn more bout power supplies start here

http://www.jonnyguru.com/

cooler master is ok with some of its power supplies but in Australia the price point is too inflated corsair is one of the best of the best, and look at the warranty length 7 years from corsair and im sure the coolermaster is less

You'll be able to push it about as far a the CPU can go; you'll meet the processors limit before you have cooling problems. How far a CPU can be overclocked varies significantly. It'll likely be between 3.8 and 4.4GHz.
