This ram any good?

http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=43090&vpn=PGV34G1333ELK&manufacture=Patriot&promoid=1223

How's this ram for the price; Patriot Sector 5 PGV34G1333ELK 4GB DDR3 2X2GB DDR3-1333 CL 9-9-9-24 Dual Channel Memory Kit for $70 after the rebate. I don't really like rebates but it seems like its a good deal + i get a free wifi adapter which i actually need... Any thoughts?

It is pretty slow actually but Patriot is generally good RAM. Cas 9-9-9-24 is slow even for DDR3 1600 much less DDR3 1333 but unless you are building a gaming machine then it will be fine.
  2. i may do some light gaming, nothing to high end. How significance will the difference be?
  3. Not really noticeable in day to day use. If you were building a gaming machine you would want every FPS you can get and then I would recommend DDR3 1600 or faster with a cas in the 7-8-7-24 range ( GSkill kit that has been the best "bang for your buck" for a while now ). The faster RAM seems to run about $30 or more than the Patriot on ncix website though...here in the US it is actually in the $90 range but for the price the Patriot is a great deal.
