Hi, I posted a couple of weeks ago about motherboards, I've now decided on my final build and wanted to check with the community if this would all work together.

Motherboard - ASUS P7P55D-E Pro S/L - http://www.amazon.co.uk/P7P55D-E-PRO-Deluxe-Socket-Motherboard/dp/B002ZS1FTK/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1285268162&sr=8-1

Processor - Intel i5 760 - http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Components/CPUs+%2F+Processors/Intel+Core+i5/Intel+Core+i5+750+2.66Ghz+%28Lynnfield%29+%28Socket+LGA1156%29+Processor+-+Retail+?productId=37674

Power Supply - CoolerMaster 550w - http://www.ebuyer.com/product/200489

Graphics Card - Radeon 5770 - http://www.ebuyer.com/product/222051

Memory - 4gb RipJaw - http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Components/Memory/DDR3+Dual+Channel+%E2%80%93+1600MHz+%2F+PC3-12800/G.SKILL+RipJaw+4GB+%282x2GB%29+DDR3+PC3-12800C9+1600MHz+Dual+Channel+Kit+?productId=37612

Hard Drive - Samsung 1tb - http://www.ebuyer.com/product/173804?ref=dotd&hp_deal=10

CD Drive - Sony Drive (already purchased)

Case - HAF 932 (already purchased)

I'll be running Window 7 64-bit and read somewhere that the BIOS may need updating. I don't know the first thing about this so would hopefully like a board where this isn't necessary. I think this does that, but I'm not 100 per cent. Also, the look of the board is very important as the side of the case will be windowed to show off the parts.

Thanks in advance, David.

The 750W version of that PSU has been negatively reviewed at Jonnyguru (twice) and Hardwaresecrets. All the other PSUs in the range are based on the same design, so the 550W GX will have the same problems, which are out of spec ripple on the 3.3V rail, lower efficiency than stated, and inability to deal with heat.

For a similiar price I would suggest the OCZ StealthXStream 2 600W. Solid power supply.

I don't know anything about this bios updating business, usually you only have to do this if you have a specific issue with the current bios.
