Hello, I planning on getting a custom built pc i am kinda new to this so here are the specs:
CPU:
Intel Core i7 870 OC 3.2GHz
Fan: Cool master Hyper tx3
Motherboard:
Asus P7P55-M (Does not support SLI but can upgrade £73)
Memory:
4GB DDR3 1333mhz (4x 2GB)
Hard Drives:
1TB S-ATAII 3.0Gb/s
Graphics card:
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 480
700W OCZ PSU

With that cpu I would go for an x58 mobo but that is just my two cents. Everything else looks great although I have been told if you want to SLI in particular you would want a larger PSU like 800-850 at a minimum so if that is a consideration(upgrading in future to SLI) them that doubly highlights the use of getting a SLI supported mobo as well.
