anyway your question is confusing... are you saying you have 4GB of DDR2 ram and now you want to put 8GB of DDR3 ram?
if so then no, motherboards only support 1 type of ram

Few motherboards do support both DDR2 and DDR3.. However, I doubt if they support them together.. In normal cases, DDR3 ram modules will not fit into DDR2 ram slots..
