5770 vs 260 gtx help plz

i wanna get a new card but dont know which i should get. im not bias tho all of my other cards were nvidia. im open to any sensible suggestions. my budget puts me at these two cards either a 5770 or a 260 gtx

i want any suggestions. im looking for pure performance with settings at 1280x1024(hopefully getting a montior to display 1680x1050) processor e8500 stock. p.s. im able to spend like $30 more on a better card if theres one

out of those two, i'd go with the 5770 (dx11, eyefinity)

If you'd go $30 more, you can get a GTX 460. Excellent card all around.

This is an easy one. The overall performance of the GTX 260 and HD5770 are basically identical but the HD5770 is better in almost every other way. It is cheaper, DX11 compatible, has more current audio/video features, supports 3 monitors and is much more power efficient/gives off much less heat, especially at idle.
Basically you should be deciding between the HD5770 and the GTX 460(not 260) and that depends on how much you want to spend.
