Using RAM with different Freq.

is it safe to use a 667mhz and 800mhz RAM simultaneously? both 1GB (a kingston and an ati crossfire brand). my motherboard is asus.

The default state of auto-800Mhz preformance will be 667, because 800 is adjusted by the motherboard memory

As long as both sticks are compatible with your MB, yes, you can mix speeds. Be aware that all the memory will run at the slower speed.
