Wireless trouble

I am having problem with my wireless connection. I am using Atheros but it's really tough when I tried activating it...perhaps I clicked so many things and there t'was this message about microsoft wireless configuration manager? how can i deactivate it and where could I find it from my folders?

If you are having trouble understanding the Atheros software perhaps you should have chosen the option to use the Microsoft wireless configuration manager. You will find this much simpler as you only need to click on your router and type in the password.

thanks for the reply, but I don't have router...
whenever I go to a cafe, I always experiencing that...
so, perhaps I will just take your advice, use microsoft configuration whenever I use wi-fi in a certain area...
