Intel Core i5 650 vs Intel Core i7 870

I currently have an i5 650 and my motherboard can only be maxed to an i7 870. Is it worth it to upgrade?

If your system is based on mainly Gaming, it isn't worth the cost increase IMO. If your system is used for video|photo editing, CAD type activities, along with gaming, the upgrade would be worth it. No matter what, I would wait for the release of Sandy Bridge CPU's next month to see how it effects the current pricing (hopefully a decrease![:)]( ":)")
