Well, I made another post about no sound. Now I clean installed Windows 7 64Bit, got my sound to work, then installed Realtek Audio from the website. I restarted, went to test my front ports with Realtek, and computer froze and blue screened. Then went to to test my audio with realtek just for purposes, and my computer black screened. Anyone heard of or any help with this problem? I just got a brand new Gigabyte 880GM motherboard, with building my new PC.

I had that same problem with Realtek installed once and got no sound. It's not compatible with Win 7 32bit and 64bit. What I did I uninstall it and I'm not using it.

actually, i used realtek and their driver has mediocre quality in my opinion so i just uninstalled it COMPLETELY and when my windows 7 64 bit restarted it automatically installed my sound card to default windows sound, which in my opinion is the best (cuz it has a really good bass boost effect that doesnt distort anything and is perfect for 2.1 speakers) :D

if that doesn't work, it could be a different problem that just decided to show up.
