I have EVGA 012-P3-1470-AR GeForce GTX 470 (Fermi) 1280MB 320-bit GDDR5
Should I go with evga's Step Up program?
Can I get my card's overclocked version for free?
By the way I remowed the barcode tag from video card. Is that problem for step up?
Minimal techinal terms please.
Thanks much.

1.i dont see why you shouldnt.

2.yes, overclocking as much as you want is absolutely free but it'll void your warranty

3. no it isn't a problem for it

just watch your temperatures while you're doing it and make sure they're not unusually high ( gtx470s always run friggin hot).

LOL Hot? These cards seem like they run cool at a peak of 80c under heavy load compared to my eVGA 9800GX2 that was cooking at nearly 100c under load and 65c idle temp!
