750W Power supply!

Hi there,

I am currently having problems with my power supply, so I am buying a new one. I have come to a conclusion between two power supplies. here in Belgium, they cost the same and both are 750W. They are Coolermaster GX750 750W and XFX PRO750 Core Edition. The only difference I have noticed is that the XFX has a bigger fan (I think quiter), has 2 more Amps on the 12 volt circuit.. and has 2x 6 pins PCI-E and 2x 8 pins PCI-E. Both efficiency of 85% but it says total power of XFX= 744W. Total power of Coolermaster= 720W. Please help! I think the XFX is a btter choice. Is this so?

i think you dont know what youre talking about. there are some cooler master power supplies that arent bad at all.
however, some of cooler masters suck, like the elite power and extreme power series

why would you want to buy a power supply from a company that doesnt give a s**t about their lower end power supplys and says they are 550 and they are 460 or the 700 that is 580. i wouldnt spend my hard earned money on a psu from a company like that. i would buy a corsair,Antec,thermaltake. or OCZ. i love coolermaster cases but i will never buy one of their psu's
