Hi there, I am having some problems with ATI Radeon HD 5770 video card. It just do not function as well as it should be. You know gaming should be rocking with this card, but for me I can barely run games like Just Cause 2, Crysis on Medium details. So whats the problem?

My system specs:
Inte Core i5 750

Hello and welcome to the forums
What resolution are you playing at ? how much FPS do you get ? and what driver are you suing ?

The 5770 is a moderately powered video card. You will, in most cases depending on the game, need to set things to medium if you are playing at a higher resolution.

I can choose any resolution and it is all the same, I've seen people playing those games maxed out. What I'm getting is only 35-40 fps with medium and 20-25fps with high details. My driver version is catalyst 10.7. So what problem can that be?
It is newly constructed system I bought this PC few days ago and gaming is shitty. Help please!

I am on driver version 10.5. When I went to 10.6 or 10.7 I dropped FPS in Bad Company 2. I've heard some similar items with the latest drivers from a few folks.

Yes most users have problems with 10.7, try using 10.3,10.4 or 10.5

+1 for trying the driver change/s.
Also, what resolution and AA settings are you using? Adding AA to Crysis in particular can have a serious impact on framerates-it's better to run the monitor at its native resolution without AA than at a lower resolution with AA enabled.

I've tried everything you've said, but to no avail. It is all the same as it was, any other suggestions?

Again what resolution is the monitor you are using and what settings are you running at ?? -- If using a high resolution and trying to use high levels of things like Supersampling AA then that performance may be normal !! (the 5770 is a mid level card and will run the games well at decent settings but can be brought to a crawl with ultra high settings due to the 128 bit memory bus !)
