does anyone know if this wireless keyboard/mouse combo is IR or RF? i was told RF but it seems to be functioning more like IR so i don't know what to think.

hmmm. ok, thats good, but im having range issues. trying to get it to work at a conference table with the receiver at a table half the length of the room. shouldn't RF have better range and no line of sight issues?

Could be that you have interference from another device in the room. In a typical office environment, there are tons of emitters that could cause issues with RF devices. Do you have a clear line of sight between the PC's transceiver and the keyboard? If there is too much stuff surrounding the transceiver or barriers to pentrate, you can also have issues. Good luck!
