Hello,
I'm planning a self build and trying to get the best I can afford I'm just stuck on motherboard and the relevant CPUs
I'm looking for a duel CPU system as I do a lot of media editing, gaming and loads of multi tasking
I am pretty much set on the ati eye affinity 5870 gpu and need CPU set up to keep up with 3+ grater-than-hd screens
Can you help me and point me to the right mother board and relevant CPUs

EVGA classified SR-2 Motherboard supports 2 Xeon socket 1366 MB and supports CrossfireX.

It may be better to get the i7 980X then 2 CPUs (It would be cheaper) and would give you 6 cores and 12 threads.

Then you can get a HD5970 and run 3 monitors, and get 12 Gig or RAM. and SSDs

Unless you are doing this without a budget, go with a single CPU. If you have no budget and have real deep pockets go with 2 6 core Xeon CPUs, EVGA Classified SR2 MB, 48 Gig or RAM, 2 HD5970s in crossfire, 3 Intel X Series SSDs in a RAID0 with a 1-2TB disk for backup and storage.

And buy 2 and send me one :).
