I mostly just burn video games and file storage but I still want something good as I'm not on a budget.

Something quite would be nice but since it won't run that much it isn't as important as quality for me as I expect the burner to last several years.

I was tinking about that one http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16827136249 since they claim the DVD would last for a longer period of time before decaying but I have no idea this is true.

If anyone can point me a good blue ray burner or at least tell me what I should be looking for when looking on the different ones I'd be happy.

I have an older model LG Blu-Ray drive similar to the one you are looking at on NewEgg and have been pleased with the performance so far. I've had it for just over a year and have had no issues with the drive.
