Hello all,

I have myself a little issue. I have had this build for a month now and everything has been going smoothly. But just the other day my computer started acting strange. After a reboot it started to either crash programs or windows itself crashed. The only thing that i can think of that may have caused it was me installing Open Office which installs visual c++. I ended up have to do a fresh Windows 7 professional install and everything seemed fine. Untilled i installed abiword which also has visual c++... did another reinstall. Was fine for days with no problems except.sometime Explorer would have an issue browsing here and there. Now i have been playing FFxiv and starcraft and all with no issue. Now i needed a word processor so i installed open office.... and Bam at restart nothing but errors. Now i downloaded these programs from the main site as well as tryed one i had on a external that i have used on many comps. So i know the programs are safe. All i can think of is my HDD is acting funky. Any ideas. Btw please excuse spelling errors. I'm on my phone at the moment. Ill post my system specs in a moment. Thanks all.

Hey all still having issues. Got a new HDD (same kind) and no luck. Also tried installing friends copy of Windows just in case mine is bad (bought new on eBay) still has issues. It either wont start or just crashes. I recently got this BSOD after installing WINDOWS 7 HOME and it tried to boot it

All I can think of now is a Processor issue or MOBO issue... btw BIOS on MOBO are from july so they arent that old... ~_~

First, check your memory for errors. http://www.memtest.org/. Believe it or not, sometimes bad memory can even make the downloads bad. I had that on my previous pc. You can try to download OO on another pc, transfer the installation.exe on yours and try to install it. See if it helps.

Well its not the memory... still having issues. (like while in FIREFOX screen crashes turns black) Also while playing FFXIV yesterday it just crashed and said FINAL FANTASY XIV HAS STOPPED WORKING... So Im really lost here... wondering if it can be the CPU or processor now...

All my mem has been tested for 7:30-9 hours on memtest and all passes.
